Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and the soft glow of the rising sun, a typical day in our yoga teacher training in Bali begins with a sense of tranquillity and promise. Here's a glimpse into what a day looks like in this beautiful journey of transformation and self-discovery.

7:00 AM - Sunrise Meditation and Pranayama
The day starts early, just as the first light of dawn begins to paint the sky. We gather on our serene yoga deck, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sound of birdsong. The cool morning air fills our lungs as we sit in silent meditation, grounding ourselves and setting positive intentions for the day. This is followed by pranayama, a series of breathing exercises that awaken our energy and bring clarity to our minds.
8:00 AM - Asana Practice
With the sun rising higher, we move into our morning asana practice. This two-hour session is designed to invigorate our bodies and minds, combining dynamic flows with mindful alignments. The guidance of our experienced teachers helps us explore our limits and deepen our understanding of each pose. The energy in the room is palpable, as we move and breathe together, united in our practice.
10:00 AM - Breakfast
After our morning practice, we gather for a nourishing breakfast. Fresh tropical fruits, homemade granola, and a variety of smoothies provide the perfect fuel for our bodies. This is a time to relax, connect with fellow trainees, and share our experiences and insights.

11:00 AM - Anatomy and Philosophy
Our mornings continue with immersive learning sessions. We delve into the anatomy of the human body, understanding the mechanics of movement and how to practice safely. These lessons are complemented by philosophical discussions, where we explore the ancient texts and principles that underpin yoga. The blend of science and spirituality enriches our knowledge and broadens our perspective.
1:00 PM - Lunch and Free Time
Lunch is a delightful affair, featuring a spread of local and international dishes that cater to all dietary preferences. Afterward, we have some free time to rest, reflect, or explore the beautiful surroundings. Some of us might choose to swim in the pool, take a walk on the beach, or simply relax with a book in the shade.
3:00 PM - Teaching Methodology and Practicum
The afternoon sessions are dedicated to teaching methodology and practicum. We learn how to structure classes, give effective cues, and support our future students in their practice. These sessions are highly interactive, with plenty of opportunities to practice teaching and receive constructive feedback from our peers and instructors.
5:00 PM - Yin or Restorative Yoga
As the day winds down, we shift to a more restorative practice. Yin or restorative yoga sessions help us to unwind and integrate the day's learnings. These gentle practices are deeply relaxing, allowing us to release tension and cultivate a sense of inner peace.

7:00 PM - Dinner and Evening Activities
Dinner is a time to come together and enjoy our meal under the stars. The evenings are often filled with special activities, such as kirtan (devotional singing), guided meditations, or inspirational talks. These shared experiences cultivate a sense of community and deepen our connection to each other and the practice.
8:00 PM - Reflection and Rest

As the day comes to a close, we take time to reflect on our journey. We journal our thoughts and experiences, capturing the insights and emotions that arise during training. The peaceful ambiance of Bali and the supportive environment of our training create the perfect setting for personal growth and transformation.
